We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who helped with the 7th Annual Motorcycles, Music, & Memories Event held at Kersting’s Cycle Center on Saturday, September 12th. Over 250 riders participated in the MDA Ride and 1700+ people donated to the Nella Kersting Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Thank you to Mike McBride for all of your hard work and dedication in organizing and managing this event. You are the best! Thank you to the Kankakee Valley Harley Owners Group for always volunteering and being here when we need them. We cannot forget Terry and Deb Young along with the entire Starke County ABATE Family for leading one of the best motorcycle benefit rides in our area, running the beer tent, and so much more. Special thanks to the North Judson-San Pierre Cheerleaders, Pop Warner/Striper Football, the Skate Boarders, and all the Food Vendors and Merchandise Vendors who give their time and talents to help make this Event a success. And last, but not least, thank you to all of our customers and local communities for your donations and Good Luck wishes. We hope all of you that joined us this year had as much fun as we did. We could not have a successful charity event without all of you. Over $16,000 will be donated to MDA, Toys for Kids, the Nella Kersting Memorial Scholarship fund, and several other local organizations.
